About Us 

The Pipestone County Ambulance provides 24 hours a day emergency care and transportation in the cities of Pipestone, Holland, Woodstock, and the surrounding rural areas. We respond to any type of emergency medical call, stabilize, & treat patients at the scene and during transport to the hospital for physician care. We also transfer patients from our local hospital to area medical centers.

The Pipestone County Ambulance is broken into two parts: the Pipestone Ambulance Association and the Pipestone County Ambulance. 

• The Pipestone Ambulance Association is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that our paid volunteers are part of.

• The Pipestone County Ambulance is owned and operated by Pipestone County, which our full-time and part-time employees are part of. 

The Pipestone County Ambulance consists of 3 ambulances, covering over 350 square miles. With an average call volume between 900 and 1000 calls per year, which is an average of 2.5 calls per day. 

We average around 35,000 miles per year, between 3 ambulances.
